unit: outpost

Grade 8-12

Camp will not be offering Minis, half weeks, Outpost, or adventure days this summer, we look forward to the return of these programs in the future.

Outpost is for campers in grades 8-12 that want to spend more than half of their week out in the wilderness. Prior to their adventure out into the woods, Outpost campers will learn how to set up their tents, utilize their surroundings, develop basic outdoor cooking skills, and work as a team. Outpost campers will also get the opportunity to go offsite to enjoy rafting or hiking. When they are staying at Namanu, campers will sleep in the Balagan tree houses. Spaces are very limited..

Camp Namanu is proud to provide financial assistance to youth and families each summer. Scholarships are provided through generous donations from individuals, organizations and partners.

Please register for your first choice of sessions and pay a required deposit before submitting applications for financial assistance.

HEAR FROM OUR CAMPERS

Kasen, attended Mini Blue Wing for his first time at the age of 6 though his first visit was to family camp in 2009 when he was 9 days old. Since then he has returned for Family Camp every year it has been offered and many service weekends, initially hanging out in Raker doing arts and crafts, and now eagerly wanting to go on hikes and write letters to Mr Skriggleboggle.
