Welcome to Camp Namanu! During summer, we welcome campers entering grades 2nd through 12th to engage in many different types of outdoor activities that get youth into their learning zones and into nature. Our goal is to help our campers become confident leaders and stewards of their communities by providing a safe space for all campers to grow.

 

Tucked in the mountains an hour from both Portland and Mt. Hood, Namanu covers more than 550 acres where campers can spend up to 10 days living in cabins with youth of the same age group, and participating in a multitude of activities.

 

Activities include hiking, swimming, arts & crafts, and exploring nature. As kids age through Namanu, new programs become available to them, such as archery, overnight hikes, weaving, and high ropes challenge courses. We encourage campers to help create their own cabin schedules each week by choosing activities they’re interested in.
