"Namanu has been my second home since I was 10 and I've been going every summer since. It's something I look forward to all year. I've met some of my best friends through this camp and discovered my love of nature. I want others to continue experiencing the joy I've found there."

Our Programs
Welcome to Camp Namanu! Tucked away in beautiful Sandy, Oregon, an hour from both Portland and Mt. Hood, Namanu covers more than 550 acres where campers, families, and community members can play and explore.
During summer, we welcome campers entering grades 2nd through 12th to our century-old summer camp program. Throughout the year, we also offer Family Camps and Community Events such as Service Weekends, Camp After Dark, and our annual Friends of Namanu alumni weekend. These are opportunities for families, alumni, and the greater Namanu community to join us in this breath-taking setting to learn, play, sing, and enjoy time in nature.

Upcoming Service Weekends & Open Houses
Spring Service Weekend
May 22nd-24th, 2026
Join us this May for a weekend of service projects around camp to help us prepare for the upcoming Summer Camp season.
Service weekends are a great way to support camp, spend time with the camp staff and community, and enjoy our beautiful site. Service weekends include housing and meals for the weekends. There is no charge to attend, but a suggested donation of $25-50 if you are able will help fund our food service and materials.
Camp Open House
May 3rd & June 20th, 2026
We are thrilled to offer multiple open houses this spring. This is a great opportunity for upcoming campers, families, potential renters, and community members. Connect with our year-round staff, explore our accommodations, and experience the beauty of our over 550 acres of natural land.
While these events are free, we do ask folks to register so we are prepared to welcome you to camp.
