
Trip Details
In the months of July & August 2012 Camp Fire is running 4 road trips. The 12-day trips will provide an itinerary of fun adventure activities and service projects around the state. See table below for trip dates and times.
Trips will be staffed at a 1:5 ratio to ensure participant safety and staff responsiveness to participant needs at all times.
Accommodations include camping in tents and rustic cabins. Each participant will be provided camping equipment by Camp Fire at no additional charge.
Participants and staff will share responsibility for duties such as meal preparation, camp setup and breakdown, and gear care.

MANDATORY PRE-TRIP MEETING: On Thursday, 6/28/12 and Thursday, 8/2/12 Camp Fire will be hosting Mandatory Pre-Trip Meetings for all youth participants and their parents/guardians at its Portland office. Meetings will run from 5pm-6:30pm and 7pm-8:30pm on both days. Important information about the trip will be given out at this meeting. All participants must attend in order to go on their Xploregon road trip.
Each trip has been assigned a meeting time and date, as listed in the table above, and participants will automatically be registered to their trip’s meeting. If you are unable to make your assigned meeting you may register to attend an alternate meeting by contacting the Xploregon Program Director at least 2 weeks prior to your assigned meeting.
