We just arrived back in service to update the blog after spending a few days off the grid, deep in Oregon’s lush green forests. A lot has happened since we left Namanu. We moved to South Beach where we Sea Kayaked and played frisbee in the sand. Next we traveled inland to the Siuslaw National

It is hard to believe that just two days ago we waved goodbye to our families as we embarked on our Xploregon adventure. Skills like setting up tents, navigating our family-style group dynamic, and excelling at ropes courses seem common place to us now as we leave Camp Namanu. Highlights so far include: hanging in full body harnesses high in the air on Namanu’s Big Swing, watching the sunset over the Sandy River, and eating cake baked in a camping Dutch Oven. It’s been fun. Today we are looking forward to Sea Kayaking and camping on the coast. We hope our families and friends are doing well at home. Our best from, Geo and the Xploregonians
