Resident Camp
At Namanu, campers live in cabins with youth of the same gender and age group along with a cabin counselor (of the same gender) dedicated to providing the entire cabin with an unforgettable Namanu experience.
All sessions offer general, age-appropriate camp programs that may include cookouts, hiking, archery, swimming, boating, arts & crafts, nature games, and singing. Each cabin group also chooses specific activities for the weekly session. This creates a unique and youth-driven experience each week.
Each grade level outlined below has its own geographically centered unit with a distinct theme and flavor. From the modern, comfortable, and enclosed cabins of Blue Wing to the rustic and picturesque open air tree houses of Balagan, each unit space offers a unique outdoor experience.

GRADES 1-2 | Mini Blue Wing Unit
2 Day Sessions: 5b or 7b – $150
Campers and counselors live in cabins with a built-in bathroom during this special two-day/one-night camping experience. This program is designed to give the first-time camper a short but exciting taste of camp. From 8:30 a.m. the first day to 7:30 p.m. the next, our youngest campers enjoy a wide range of camp experiences.
GRADES 2-3 | Blue Wing Unit
4 Day Sessions: 1, 5a, or 7a – $350
7 Day Sessions: 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 – $570
Blue Wing campers live in cabins with an interior bathroom and shower. They participate in a variety of activities including boating in the duck pond, swimming in our solar-heated pool, hiking, arts & crafts, and playing nature games.
GRADE 4-5 | Sherwood Unit
4 Day Sessions: 1, 5a, or 7a – $350
7 Day Sessions: 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 – $570
Sherwood campers live in fully enclosed cabins and enjoy scaling the climbing wall, archery, playing in the creek, learning about stargazing, and hiking to new places that may include an overnight. They also enjoy all of the activities available to the Blue Wing campers. Sherwood campers also have the option to sign up for a Trail Ride at our Ranch Camp for $35.
GRADE 6 | Robin Hill Unit
4 Day Session: 1 – $350
7 Day Sessions: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 – $570
Robin Hill campers live in open-air cabins and are able to participate in all of the activities available for Sherwood campers. They also have opportunities to use the looms in our historic Weavery, take a night swim in the pool, and develop teamwork skills through problem-solving activities on the low ropes course. Robin Hill campers also have the option to sign up for a Trail Ride at our Ranch Camp for $35.
GRADE 7 | Kiwanis Unit
7 Day Sessions: 2, 5, 6, 7, 8 – $570
14 Day Session: 3/4 – $895
Kiwanis campers live in tipis and, in addition to all of the Robin Hill camper activities, have the opportunity to develop individual and teamwork skills on our high ropes course.
GRADES 8-9 | Pioneer Unit: 14-day and 7-day sessions
7 Day Sessions: 2, 5, 6, 7, 8 – $570
14 Day Session: 3/4 – $895
Pioneer campers awaken to the calming rush of the nearby Sandy River in three-sided cabins, and have the opportunity to participate in all Kiwanis campers activities. They are encouraged to take on more leadership roles in their cabin groups and may choose to do an extended hike or learn advanced outdoor skills.
GRADES 10 – 12 | Balagan Unit: 14-day and 7-day sessions
7 Day Sessions: 2, 5, 6, 7, 8 – $570
14 Day Session: 3/4 – $895
Balagan campers live in tree houses perched above the Sandy River. Their sessions include all of the Pioneer camper activities plus opportunities to serve as mentors and role models for younger campers. Additional activities reserved for our oldest campers may be hosting an all-camp event, rappelling off the climbing wall, and participating in advanced challenge course activities.
