Fir Ridge High School
Located in Outer Southeast Portland, Fir Ridge Campus is the alternative high school program of the David Douglas School District. It serves approximately 200 students enrolled in grades 9-12. Fir Ridge stresses small class sizes, a more individualized educational program, a structured school environment, a more flexible and student centered curriculum, and a staff of professionals who have experience working within an alternative school setting. It serves an area with the highest child poverty rate in Portland and a large immigrant and refugee community.

Services DeliveredWe offer an elective credit class using an evidenced informed curriculum that focuses on goal management. This class is infused with field trips and mentoring to make the curriculum relevant to the lives of the youth taking it and connect the class to the community they live in.
